School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Onsite, Full-time, 2024-2025 School Year

Are you a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an opportunity to positively impact the lives of students? Do you thrive in a collaborative educational environment where you can help children develop essential munication skills? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a School-Based SLP for the 2024-2025 school year, just 20 minutes outside of Brunswick, GA!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prehensive speech and language assessment and therapy services to students with diverse munication needs and disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech, language, and munication goals, in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic success and social-emotional well-being through munication.
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reevaluations to identify students who may require speech-language services and monitor progress over time.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in pliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Stay current with best practices, research, and developments in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Georgia license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, teachers, and other educational professionals.
