Special Education Teacher - Galesville, WI

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Galesville, WI. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Provide direct instruction to students, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with other members of the education team, including parents, administrators, and support staff, to ensure the academic and social success of students.
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and make data-driven instructional decisions.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters independence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate with parents and other stakeholders.
