Accounting Clerk

This role would be on a long-term contract / contract to permanent basis, and located in the Austintown Nt, Ohio area.

Responsibilities

- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Manage a well-organized system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

- Conduct and manage the general ledger

- Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

- Balance accounts by reconciling entries

- Look after archived records by categorizing documents

- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions- Bookkeeping experience

- Strong familiarity with payroll for under 100 employees

- Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping

- QuickBooks experience

- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Prior experience using accounting software

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
