Air Import Specialist

Pay rate: $20-$25 per hour (depending on experience)

Shift: Sunday to Thursday

In this role, your responsibilities will include receiving, reviewing, and processing documentation for assigned accounts to ensure timely and compliant transactions. You'll interface with both internal and external customers, using various systems to provide updates and communications. Additionally, you'll be responsible for obtaining necessary releases, arranging delivery, and ensuring accurate invoicing while adhering to company policies. Acting as a liaison between customers, government agencies, and Customs, you'll work to achieve service commitments and provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed about shipment status and addressing any inquiries they may have. Furthermore, you'll coordinate the release of goods, manage pre-alerts to ensure timely freight arrival, and continuously improve your understanding of processes through self-study and training sessions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based software applications.
• Strong data entry skills and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and analytical skills.
