Bartender

LaBelle Winery is seeking a professional, high energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our LaBelle guests. 

*Days/ evenings hrs vary as needed, weekend and holiday availability

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Verifying age
• Clear knowledge on alcohol pairing and tastes
• Clear knowledge on traditional and classy drinks
• Processing payments
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Cleaning bar supplies and practicing proper sanitization at all times
• Create recipes for owner's approval 
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions ensuring charges are accurate.
• Ability to use POS systems
• Ability to work as a team
• Lifting ice and carrying cases of liquor when needed.
• Other job duties may be assigned

 Requirements

• High school diploma, must be over 18 years old
• Additional education, training, certificates or experience required including TEAMS training
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods of time
• Frequently lifting up to 25lbs with the ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend in tight areas such as behind the bar and in the kitchen.
• Ability to climb stairs
• Standing for 6-8 hours may be required.
• Moving intermittently during work hours
