Physical Therapist

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare, close to home.

Our Physical Therapist is an essential part of our Medical team and is responsible for performing evaluations and developing effective patient treatment plans to restore, maintain, or prevent decline of patient function, by planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy in accordance with federal, state, and professional standards governing the hospital. Physical Therapists at Madison Regional Health System have the unique opportunity to provide care in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, great telephone etiquette, communication skills, computer knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential. Eligible candidates will have an A Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, South Dakota Physical Therapy License, and CPR certification is required.

Physical Therapist will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The working conditions will be in a clean, well-lighted area, with sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity. Exposure to infectious disease, body fluids, odors, and dust. Will be working with a variety of general rehab equipment.
