Job Summary:
Premiere Behavioral Supports is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals who have autism and developmental disabilities, offering essential support and implementing behavioral therapy interventions. Your role will encompass assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), meticulous data collection, and seamless collaboration with our behavioral health team.

Responsibilities:

Implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Directly engaging with individuals to teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors

Assisting individuals with ADLs, including personal hygiene, mealtime routines, and fostering independent living skills

Collecting and analyzing data on behavior targets to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans

Collaborating closely with the behavioral health team to ensure consistent and effective implementation of interventions

Maintaining precise and comprehensive medical documentation and records

Providing patient care with utmost compassion and respect

Requirements:

Preferably, prior experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and principles

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously as part of a team

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Demonstrated ability to follow instructions accurately and implement behavior plans effectively

Meticulous attention to detail in data collection and documentation

Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information

Skills:

Proficient in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities

Expertise in ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)

Competent in data analysis

Experience in medical documentation

Compassionate patient care

Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles

Familiarity with behavioral health practices

Skilled in maintaining accurate medical records
