About Us: X-Bow Systems is a cutting-edge aerospace technology company focused on revolutionizing propulsion systems for space exploration and defense applications. Our team of innovative engineers and scientists is committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in rocket propulsion. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree an engineering discipline with 1+ years of experience
- Experience with data acquisition systems, sensors, instrumentation, VFDs, and motors
- Familiarity with Git source code control systems
- Experience with control panel design, wiring, and debugging
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment during test, launch, and print operations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years of experience
- Experience working in hazardous areas and/or supporting live test events
- Industrial Manufacturing Experience
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A code
- Robot and PLC simulation experience
- Experience with 6DOF Robotic Arms (Kuka, FANUC, Universal Robots, ABB)
- Experience with reliable safety systems (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant)
- Familiarity with Jira/Confluence
- Proficient with C, C++, or Rust
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Grafana
