Are you an experienced Community Manager looking for a new opportunity? Valley Estates Heber Springs is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to oversee our apartment community in Heber Springs, AR. As a Community Manager, you will be responsible for planning and directing the day-to-day activities of the property, including maintenance staff and vendors, to ensure the goals and objectives of the property are accomplished.

Responsibilities:

  • Market and lease available apartments in full compliance with fair housing laws
  • Provide a high level of customer service and connect with residents
  • Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using property management software
  • Screen and qualify prospective residents
  • Oversee renovation of vacant units and ensure they are prepared for rental
  • Manage property expenditures in accordance with the budget
  • Respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely and courteous manner

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience
  • One year of management experience with a proven track record for successful leasing and renewal rates
  • LIHTC experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing community rules and policies
  • Strong communication ability, both verbally and in writing
