Online Course Developer for Speech-Language Pathology (Voice Disorders)

Description:
The Course Developer will create the designated course content for a fully online course. The expert is responsible for developing instructional materials and learning resources, selecting relevant knowledge sources, organizing, creating, and managing content, and designing assessment and evaluation tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop online courses focused on Voice Disorders within the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
  2. Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to gather content, learning objectives, and assessment criteria.
  3. Design engaging and interactive course content using multimedia elements, case studies, and real-world examples.
  4. Ensure courses comply with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and accessibility guidelines.
  5. Conduct thorough research on current trends, advancements, and best practices in Voice Disorders within Speech-Language Pathology.
  6. Integrate technology and instructional design principles to enhance the online learning experience.
  7. Collaborate with multimedia specialists to create high-quality instructional materials, including videos, presentations, and simulations.
  8. Review and update course content regularly to reflect changes in the field and ensure ongoing relevance.
  9. Provide support and guidance to instructors delivering the online courses.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree is required.
  • Applicant must also be licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Florida.
  • Teaching or training experience in the field of speech-language pathology.
