Allegiance Staffing Greensboro is seeking for a Sheeter Operators for the Whitsett area:
Positions details:
- Pay Rate- $23 to $27 per hour DOE
- Temp to Hire Opportunity
- Whitsett, NC
Schedule:
- 8 Hours shift
- 6am to 2pm
- Monday through Friday
Requirements for the Sheeter Operator position:
- Must be able to understand and follow computer instructions to print reports after the completion of every job.
- Must learn to keep accurate production records, including the completion of all ISO 9001-2000 required forms; and learn to accurately use different measuring devices including tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Able to instruct other employees in all phases of work.
- Use a forklift to haul the cut sheets to the proper storage area.
- Determine and prioritize which jobs to run based on production schedule needs.
- Verify feed sizes, sheet size, and material code all match specification sheet.
- Mount and web rolls of paper, adjust web guide and roll stand width to position rolls correctly.
- Adjust belts and slitter knives to produce neat piles and accurate cuts.
- Communicate in system any special attention items with products being passed down the line.
- Check quality of sheets to ensure they are wrinkle-free, correct size, and integrity of material is intact.
- Ensure smooth operation and pace of production line.
- Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.
- Related duties as assigned.
Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Two to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the folding carton industry preferred.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and verbal instructions in English for Safety, ISO, and other work-related instructions.
- Must have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, vendors, or employees of organization.
- Must have competent mathematical skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
