Weekend Medtech at Villa Palms ALF

Villa Palms Assisted Living in Fort Myers, FL is looking for weekend medtechs to join our team. We are located on 6722 Winkler Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

1. After shift report check in on all residents to greet and ensure well-being 
2. Aid in getting residents up for breakfast (Groom, change, brush teeth and hair) 
3. Prepare, administer, monitor/observe, and record medication administration. 
4. Help toilet and change residents every 2 hours, or throughout the shift when necessary. 
5. Check shower/laundry book and complete required assignments and sign off. 
6. Keep all residents cleaned, groomed, hydrated, and happy during shift. 
7. Make sure all rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and trash is taken out. 
8. Aid in snack and lunch time. 
9. Answer and record all phone calls. 
10. Lead and assist in daily activity, event or outing. 
11. Maintain records for residents.  
12. Update calendar for upcoming appointments for residents. 
13. Re-order medication refills when necessary 
14. Communicate with families when necessary. 
15. Ensure accountability for residents throughout shift 
16. Reporting any concerns or medical issues 
17. Performing any reasonable request that residents ask for. 
18. Collaborating with coworkers and management to ensure residents receive the best quality of life possible. 
19. Appropriately documenting vital signs, significant changes, narcotic usage, and other pertinent information regarding residents’ health.  
20. Assisting residents with ADL’s 
21. Maintaining resident confidentiality  
22. Ensure required training and continuing education. 
23. Complete shift report and review with next shift lead 
24. Report any issues, concerns, frustration, and feedback professionally to administrator.  

This is a 19 bed assisted living facility. We have weekend availability from 7-3 and 3-11. Serious inquires only!

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
