We are seeking a full-time HR Assistant. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to enter, or continue their career, in the HR industry and has a strong desire to improve their experience and skill set. They will be dependable with an adventurous personality and have the ability to connect and work well with a diverse workforce. Someone who will thrive in a family oriented and goal driven environment.
Job Duties:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to Human Resource team and department personnel
- Input and track all Human Resource data entries
- Partner with managers and supervisors to determine staffing needs
- Coordinate pre-employment drug testing and criminal/credit background checks
- Assist with orientations, on-boarding and processing of new hire paperwork including I-9 verification in both English and Spanish
- Develop and maintains excellent relationships with internal and external clients
- Assist in the training and development of employees
- Demonstrate professional and dependable behavior at all times, maintain confidentiality with all sensitive material and communications
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proficient in communicating via phone, email, and in person in both English and Spanish
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow while assisting the recruiting team
- Superior organizational skills; ability to multi-task
- Successful in a fast-paced environment; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
- A valid driver's license
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience in business, communications, human resources or related discipline (experience in the construction industry strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (All Applications)
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Bi-lingual fluency in both English and Spanish languages is required
