Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Perform routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify and diagnose issues, such as malfunctioning components or leaks.
  • Clean and replace filters, belts, and other parts to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including lubrication, electrical connection checks, and system calibration.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their HVAC needs and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex HVAC system problems, including identifying electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to accurately assess system performance and determine required repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, parts used, and time spent on each job.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with hazardous materials, high voltages, and heavy equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair options, costs, and timelines clearly to clients.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and team members to share knowledge and solve complex HVAC challenges.
  • Install new HVAC systems according to specifications, including ductwork, wiring, refrigerant lines, and controls.
  • Respond to emergency service calls promptly and effectively, especially during extreme weather conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Recommend energy-efficient solutions and practices to customers to reduce their environmental footprint and utility costs.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair and installation projects, considering labor, parts, and other costs.
  • Keep inventory of necessary parts and supplies, restocking as needed to ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and projects.

Job requirements

  • 3+ Yearsof experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician -Required
  • EPA Certification -Required
  • Prior experience in Commercial HVAC - Required
  • Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record -Required
  • The expected commitment for this role is41-50 hours per week
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
