Spa Attendant - Mirbeau Inn & Spa

Job Summary

This role plays an important part of ensuring all spa guests have an exceptional experience through assisting the therapist staff on sanitizing, cleaning and organizing of spa rooms and facilities.

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 /hour Part Time/Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Maintain familiarity with all Mirbeau Standards for Spa Facilities and Guest Service.
  • Maintain all Spa Locker Room, Resting Area, Fitness, and Aqua Terrace areas up to cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Provide guests with an orientation tour of Spa facilities upon arrival.
  • Remove all dirty linen, glassware, trash from treatment rooms, resting area, locker rooms, and outdoor areas.
  • Assist in emptying carts of soiled linen and trash, disposing in the proper locations (laundry room, dumpsters, etc.).
  • Deliver clean linen and necessary supplies to the locker rooms and towel storage locations throughout the facility.
  • Set up lounge chairs with fresh towels and pillows and remove once used.
  • Maintain required inventory of linen and guest room supplies and inform Spa Director of any shortages.
  • Clean toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, etc. when needed.
  • Wax and/or polish surfaces when needed.
  • Complete all required paperwork as directed by the Spa Director.
  • Report any problems or unusual situations to the Spa Desk / Spa Director.
  • Assist in Laundry Department if needed.
  • Attend all scheduled meetings as deemed necessary by the resort.
  • Perform any additional assignments as directed by the Spa Desk / Spa Director.
  • Report to work in a clean uniform with nametag at scheduled time.

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements

Position requires the ability to learn job duties during a short period of training and follow directions efficiently. Previous cleaning and organizing experience helpful. Must be in good health and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 40lbs for extended periods. A neat appearance, pleasant personality, and ability to understand and speak English necessary.
