NOW HIRING: INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- 2nd and 3rd shifts
SHIFT: 2nd & 3rd SHIFT
PAY RATE: $25.00 plus shift premium upon completing the probationary period
JOB DUTIES:
1. Responsible for utilizing equipment to consistently produce a quality product in an efficient manner and responsible for:
2. Perform tasks on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
3. Troubleshoot problems with the weld controller from the substation to the welding tips.
4. Work with Quality Assurance to verify weld quality and make necessary adjustments.
5. Work with interlocking systems for automated and semi-automated equipment.
6. Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) problems using the industrial terminal, personal computer, etc.
7. Use logic printouts for diagnostic/repair functions.
8. Repair sensors, modules, and field wiring as required.
9. Add or delete sensors, solenoids, lights, etc., to PLC programs based on the information supplied.
10. Install piping system for various process needs (Hydraulic and Pneumatic)
11. Fabricating from blueprints, written, and/or verbal directions.
12. Use precision measuring tools including, but not limited to, calipers, compasses, etc.
13. Work with industrial control systems.
14. Basic mechanic functions of automated equipment.
15. Perform electrical equipment maintenance, repairs, and installation.
16. Use a forklift and other handling equipment.
17. Use maintenance shop equipment, power tools, hand tools, Volt OHM Meter (VOM), Digital Multi Meter (DMM), weld scope, and oscilloscope.
18. Make cables as required using recognized standards (RS-232, RS-422, etc.)
19. Proper handling of Hazardous Waste generated by the plant.
20. Perform PM tasks as assigned (Electrical, Mechanical, Fixturing).
21. Uphold and maintain a team-oriented environment with quality goals.
22. Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Facilitator, or Manager.
23. Clean the work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Understanding and complying with the Company’s Quality Policy and Mission Statement.
2. Understanding and complying with of Safety Policies and Practices.
3. Basic Education Requirements are a high school diploma and/or GED with basic math skills and reading comprehension.
