Landscapes Golf Management and Dakota Dunes Country Club are seeking part time Server Assistants for our service team. Must be 16 at time of hire.


Dakota Dunes Country Club is a private club offering an active lifestyle in a relaxed and comfortable country club setting. Dakota Dunes Country Club members enjoy a complete lifestyle with an array of amenities including 18 holes of spectacular golf, creative casual and fine dining, full body fitness, outdoor swimming, recreation center and tennis courts. JOB SUMMARY

Assists servers in attending to the needs of club patrons in restaurant and dining areas in a courteous manner according to Company standards.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Assists serving staff in welcoming patrons, escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
  2. Prepares tables for arriving patrons by wiping up spills, replacing linens, setting up tableware, napkins and condiments. Wraps utensils in napkins accordingly.
  3. Clears tables and attends to the general cleanliness of the dining area.
  4. Delivers food when servers are too busy.
  5. Ensures the server station and bar is stocked and clean.
  6. Prepares and refills water and other non-alcoholic beverages for club patrons
  7. Assists servers with processing payments as needed.
  8. Removes trash and sanitizes menus.
  9. Sets up tables, chairs and serving stations for events or dinner service.
  10. Maintains professional appearance and demeanor. Adheres to club dress code always.
  11. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
  12. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
  13. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.


Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Must have the ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  2. Good oral communication skills.
  3. Can compute simple math and count change accurately.
  4. Able to obtain a food handler’s permit or certification.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Previous experience in food service preferred.
  2. Certified Food Handler (rserving.com or local certification)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 50-100%
  • Standing and walking 50-75%
  • Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 0-24%
  • Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, writing and Driving 0-25%
  • Lift in excess of 25 pounds 0-24%
