Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic
Power Dynamics Innovations LLC (PDI) located in Picayune, MS. specializes in providing Engineering and Manufacturing Solutions to the Fluid Power Industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic to join our manufacturing and field service technical team.

Our people must be willing to work extended hours and to travel, sometimes within a few hours’ notice. That requirement exists 24 hours a day 7 days a week, overtime is often a must.
A qualified Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic should have the following experience and skills.
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to complete field service work
- 1-5 years fluid power experience (hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electro-mechanical) strongly preferred
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics, trouble shoot and diagnose failures
- Ability to identify a wide range of fluid power manufacturers and recognize their products
- Ability to use various tools for measurement (micrometer, id micrometer, and calipers)
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools and supply your own tools with at least 5K in tool value
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while producing quality results
- Must be organized and detail oriented—accuracy and quality are a must
Job Description:
The Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic must be skilled in building, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical integrated hydraulic systems. Specifically, you must be able to:
- Diagnose problems, give recommendations for repairs, perform all machine repairs and adjustments
- Use schematics and diagnostic equipment to investigate hydraulic or pneumatic system problems
- Inspect parts and various components. Determine if parts are re-workable and write up service report
- Evaluate, tear down and repair Hydraulic Components
- Develop and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, test and adjust assemblies
- Write service reports and access databases for work orders, parts orders, and company maintenance programs
- Recognize and reports potentially unsafe conditions
- Practice and promote teamwork all the time. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance
- All candidates will be subject to pre-employment medical, drug, MVR and criminal background screenings
The Mechanic / Technician will be working on winches, cranes, linear pipe tensioners, hydraulic power units, pipe handling equipment and Horizontal Directional Drilling equipment.
