This position will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests while maintaining the bar.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipe standards and accurately measure alcohol according to specific measures. Take food orders. Utilize POS for inputting accurate orders, collecting payment, and making change.
  • Stock and maintain the bar inventory; maintain a clean and organized work area, washing glasses as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and exude a warm and hospitable nature to owners and guests, engaging everyone in conversation.
  • Adhere to state and local laws. Check identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age. They also manage their alcohol intake to prevent over intoxication and drinking and driving.
  • Responsible for general upselling.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a full-service bar preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Company will provide training in ServSafe and TIPs certification which is required to perform job duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be minimum of 21 years old.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • Anticipate customer needs and maintain excellent guest service.
