Cross Pointe Insurance based in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Spurgin Insurance in Dallas, Texas now have GREAT news. The Spurgin Insurance group has joined the Cross Pointe team with offices in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. We are excited that due to growth and increased opportunities with our agency, we are looking to add an experienced Commercial Lines insurance account manager to our current staff with the Spurgin Insurance office. We are an insurance business that is well established in the Dallas, Texas area.

As our office is based in Dallas, Texas, we would prefer applicants to be from the Dallas/Ft. Worth and surrounding area. There is a possibility of remote work but there may be times you would be required to report to the office. An applicant with experience with AMS/Vertafore agency management software and ImageRight would be desirable. This is a full-time position with a very comprehensive fringe benefit package. Benefits include medical insurance, company paid life insurance and long term disability, a HSA and FSA plan, PTO days that begin on the first day of employment, a 401k plan with an immediate employer match up to 6% of your contribution, and voluntary affordable other insurance such as vision, dental, life insurance for dependents, critical illness and so forth. Our payroll cycle is semi-monthly.

Our current office has a great staff of sales personnel, commercial lines and personal lines account managers. Our salary is very competitive and based on experience. As we prefer an experienced commercial lines account manager, we desire that you currently hold a Property and Casualty license. Because we are in a growing, expanding stage, we are interested in a candidate who is enthusiastic, loves to assist clients and looking to make a career with an established well-known company.

Daily job functions would include quoting new business, renewing existing business, emailing and calling the insured to present renewals, answering client phone calls about service related tasks such as ID cards and policy changes, tracking upcoming renewals so they are handled in a timely manner, and checking markets for competitive quotes prior to policy renewal, service requests and remarketing small accounts. Account managers use agency management software to enter client information and to store documentation. You would work closely with the sales staff.
