Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Culinary Associate to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who has a deep love for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field. The Culinary Associate will assist in daily kitchen operations, contribute to our menu creation, and ensure that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience by preparing high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the guidance of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh, properly prepared, and presented according to our standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Participate in the stocking and managing of kitchen inventory, including receiving deliveries and organizing supplies.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items.
  • Monitor food temperatures and presentation details before dishes are served to guests.
  • Respond to feedback from guests and make necessary adjustments to dishes.
  • Continuously learn and apply new cooking techniques and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required.
  • A diploma or degree from a culinary school is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for food and a desire to continually improve culinary skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
