Kitchen Utility

SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring all restaurant equipment and areas are cleaned in accordance with sanitary standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Daily Cleaning of hoods; grills, floors and other restaurant/kitchen areas and equipment.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and sanitary.
• Assists in maintaining standards of health, safety, and sanitation.
• Use of Cleaning chemicals
• Knowledge of tools used in performing essential functions
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
