Senior Engineer

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer with expertise in civil engineering, particularly in architectural design, water resources management, and water quality/treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in slurry pumping, mixing, conveying, and stacking processes. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and overseeing engineering projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects, with a focus on architectural design, water resources management, and water quality/treatment.
2. Provide technical expertise and guidance in slurry pumping, mixing, conveying, and stacking processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations.
4. Conduct thorough analyses, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in all engineering projects, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental sustainability.
6. Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance, support, and technical training as needed.
7. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective execution.
8. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, serving as a trusted advisor and resource on engineering matters.
9. Stay informed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in civil engineering, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on architectural design, water resources management, and water quality/treatment.
4. Proven expertise in slurry pumping, mixing, conveying, and stacking processes, with a strong understanding of related equipment and technologies.
5. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
8. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior engineers.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
