Direct Support Professional (Sigourney)

First Resources Corp. in Sigourney is looking for Full-time and Part-time Direct Support Professionals. Applicants should possess a willingness and desire to work with people with an intellectual disability and/or chronic mental illness. The individuals we work with require 24-hour support, either in their home or out in their community. A DSP is there to provide support, assistance, and instruction in learning independent living skills like: Money management Socialization Cooking Personal hygiene Goal Setting and achieving Communication and self-expression needs Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
