We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to lead and join our team at DIFEBO'S MARKET! You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and dedicate time to expanding our clientele base to establish the Bakery's brand and reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day culinary/bakery production
- Coordinate food, paper and kitchenware orders
- Check freshness and quality of all pastry ingredients
- Lead a bakery team daily creating forward BEAUTIFUL pastry and desserts for our amazing clientele
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Standardize recipes and display presentations
- Create Bakery Display keeping the display full and beautiful throughout the hours of operation
- Assist with cake decorating to fill holiday and customer orders
- Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or other related fields
- Ability to WOW our guests
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems
- Passion for food, baking and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a VERY fast-paced environment
- Ability to prep and organize for extremely a busy summer season and out summer tourist

We are a neighborhood Italian Restaurant, market, bakery and pizzeria that continues to cook soulful Italian Coastal Cuisine. We are open year-round and have been serving our community since 1989!
Our website and all 3 face book pages will give you a photo snap shot of our flavors and who we are as chefs and a family.
Our restaurant is fast paced and full of energy, we have a beautiful outdoor European court yard where we serve approximately 300-500 guest per night, in season.
Our MARKET is located across the street from our Restaurant and features house made fresh pasta station, homemade (made daily ) ice cream and gelato that we source to our restaurants, house made wood fired pizza chef inspired of course and last but nout least a BAKERY! AMAZING
