- Worksite Location: Hankinson, ND
What you will do as the Grain Accountant:
- Complete and review daily grain accounting duties including preparation of commodity position validation and analysis, ensuring all risk positions are reported and monitored
- Partner with the commodity manager on customer inquiries related to commodity contracts and payments
- Enter, organize, and manage commodity purchase contracts and customer liens
- Perform customer account management and reconciliation for Customer and General Ledger
- Assist with monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Assist with monthly commodity reporting
- Prepare government and industry reports
- Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis and work
What you will bring to the role as the Grain Accountant:
- 2-year degree in Business or Accounting
- 2+ years of finance, accounting, customer service, or related work experience
- Demonstrated high levels of interpersonal communication, written and verbal communication, and documentation skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
- Valid Driver’s License
