Purpose:

Setup and operate a CNC lathe (Mazak), and manual machines such as lathes, mills, and potentially a cylindrical grinder in the manufacturing of light industrial parts. Other duties will include equipment daily pre-run preventative maintenance. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education/Experience:

HS Diploma or GED is required.

Machining certificate from accredited program preferred.

Experience setting up and running CNC equipment and other manual machining equipment preferred.

Experience working in manufacturing preferred.

Other Skills:

Ability to read engineering drawings

Ability to understand CNC programs and set up sheets

Ability to use quality control devices such as precision measurement gages and instruments

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Willingness and ability to work second shift, 2:30pm to 11:00pm
