Wiring Technician

Our client in Des Moines is currently seeking an experienced Wiring Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematic, be familiar with panel wiring, and have strong attention to detail. 

Job Title: Wiring Technician

Location: Des Moines

Pay Range: $17.00-$18.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Operate shop tools & equipment.
• Be familiar with and know how to perform all phases and types of panel wiring, such as bunch, bundle, gutter and form wiring.
• Install and wire instruments from a simple layout sketch or prints, wiring diagram or schematic.
• Install various types of nameplates. 

What’s Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Fabrication, carpentry, press brake operating background or other related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure.
• Experience in using electrical and manual tools.
• Pays close attention to detail.
