A social media intern to help grow our Onward community and spread awareness through social media marketing. WHAT WILL YOU DO? This individual will create new, exciting and intelligent content, and research and develop creative Social Media campaigns while tracking results. You will collaborate with our team to brainstorm new ideas, create and execute campaigns, create new content and more! There's an opportunity for you to come on our retreats, hang out with us during events, and set sail on Lindy (our 87' wooden sailboat) to capture the content needed for socials. ALSO - we are underway with starting to renovate a center on the backside of Catalina, and we'll need lots of content captured! We have a very unique and creative working environment, since the entire organization is about CREATIVES & harnessing creativity. We are looking for new, out of the box ideas from individuals who are passionate about marketing and nonprofits. Experience working with a brand or nonprofit to create content is a big plus. NO OFFICE HOURS REQUIRED. *You MUST be in Los Angeles for this internship opportunity* RESPONSIBILITIES: Create Social Media Campaigns and Content, Execute Social Media Campaigns, Track Social Media Campaigns, Grow network, Increase brand visibility, Increase interactions with followers REQUIREMENTS: Be creative and passionate about new social media and marketing, Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, Team Player with a pro-active can-do attitude.
