Our client located in the Bangor Maine area is seeking several dedicated, detail-oriented Associate Attorneys to join their law firm. The practice areas include - Personal injury, Social Security, and Bankruptcy law (Chapter 7 and 13). Apply for any or all open roles, they will train.


Key Responsibilities:


- Providing legal support and advice to clients under the supervision of a partner or a senior associate.

- Utilizing in detail knowledge of the law, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, and the legal code.

- Conducting legal research and prepares legal documents.

- Collaborating with attorneys on countless cases and prepare for upcoming trials.

- Participating in trials and hearings and present evidence in conformance to the rules of evidence and trial procedures.

- Seeking out specialized legal advice when necessary.

Job Requirements:


- A degree from an accredited law school and passed the Maine state bar examination.

- Previous experience as an Associate Attorney or relevant role would be a plus but is not mandatory.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and influencing skills.

- Must possess excellent research and writing skills.

- Outstanding communication skills; able to make complicated legal arguments simplified for clients.

- Must have negotiation skills.
