Patient Account Auditor

ONSITE in Simi Valley, CA

3-month CONTRACT (possibility to extend/convert)

Monday through Friday | 8a – 5p

Pay rate: $18 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, comparing, and auditing patient account data to determine errors.
• Conducting research on patient accounts, ensuring correct data has been received.
• Inputting updated information.
• Correcting duplicate information or files, and incorrect postings.
• Voiding incorrect accounts and charges.
• Posting manual corrections and setting up patient refunds.

What you bring!

• High school diploma or equivalent
• High attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of healthcare insurances, payment processing, credits and refunds and interpreting EOBs.
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
