Warehouse/Counter Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are received, stored, and distributed accurately and efficiently. You will also provide exceptional customer service and have a thorough knowledge of materials. REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in mechanical skills
• Flexibility to perform tasks such as squatting, kneeling, bending, and twisting
• Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for an entire shift
• Climbing ladders to retrieve materials as necessary

The duties of a warehouse associate involve regular use of hands for tasks such as handling, finger and feeling objects, as well as reaching with hands and arms. The job requires talking and hearing in order to communicate with colleagues and customers. Additionally, a warehouse associate is expected to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently. The employee may also be required to sit and climb or balance occasionally. The position requires regular lifting and/or moving of objects up to 25 pounds, frequent lifting and/or moving of objects up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of objects that weigh more than 75 pounds

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver professional, courteous, friendly, accurate customer service.
• Utilizing computer and RF gun technology to manage sales orders, inventory, and accurately enter information into business management systems
• Reading customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be picked, packed, distributed, or shipped/transferred
• Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas
• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences
• Assembling customer orders from stock and placing them on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department
• Delivery of solar materials to customers using company vehicle
