Creeler - 2nd Shift - (Commercial)

SHIFT: 2nd Shift

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 1 am

PURPOSE OF JOB: 

To receive yarn to creel racks.  Properly hang and splice in when needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Receive yarn to creel.  (Ensure all tickets are accounted for and yarn color and lots match work order).
• Hang yarn on creel, Splice in creel.
• Bending, stooping, reaching overhead is required.
• Must have a good safety record.
• Must keep work area clean at all times.
• Able to work unsupervised and be self motivated and work well with others.
• Other duties as instructed by supervisor.

NEEDED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch
• Ability to read yarn labels
• Ability to follow instructions on warp orders
• Ability to hang 306 to 612 cones of yarn and remove 306 to 612 cones of yarn on creels in an 8-to-10-hour shift (depending on work schedule)
• Keep records on daily report
