Large construction firm, is seeking a seasoned Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all aspects of our payables function.

In this critical role, you will:

Master of Payables: Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Data Detective: Reconcile accounts payable statements, identify and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records.
Compliance Champion: Ensure adherence to all internal control procedures and external regulations governing payables transactions.
Software Savvy: Utilize Sage and Timberline software to automate processes, generate reports, and streamline accounts payable operations.
Communication Hub: Collaborate effectively with internal departments (project managers, procurement) to ensure smooth invoice processing and communication.
Team Player: Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge and proven experience using Sage and Timberline accounting software.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and construction accounting practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
