Job title: Vice President - Commercial IT Sales

Location: Remote

Description:

  • The Vice President of Commercial IT Sales is accountable for hunting (new business) and farming (up-sell and cross-sell) in accounts in CompQsoft. The Vice President for Sales builds and maintains strong relationships with the clients (including CxO level relationships) and increases market share in the accounts and improves penetration. This role is dominantly sales focused.
  • You will be responsible for driving digital transformative sales of based on Microsoft, SAP & Salesforce technologies. You will represent CompQsoft's Microsoft practices and its product suite within and among the various business units and divisions, exceeding sales objectives. You will also handle all aspects of the sales process including lead management, qualification, evaluation, close and account care and will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team.
  • This is a quota-carrying sales position with a dedicated focus on serving the information and insight needs of one of the world's leading companies.

  • Employ productivity tools like MS Office, LinkedIn, and D365 CE system for opportunity identification, tracking, reporting, and closure.
  • Essential qualities for success include interpersonal, technical, organizational, communication, prospecting, presentation, persuasive, and decision-making skills.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to company standards for operations and service quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to inform strategy, pricing, service, and support decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to set objectives, goals, targets, and quotas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Apply market insights to improve sales process productivity.
  • Conduct regular meetings with sales leadership to provide accurate forecasts and review sales strategies.
  • Actively participate in sales training, workshops, and conferences to expand network and industry knowledge.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work primarily in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be prone to sitting for lengthy periods of time. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision. Lifting requirements may be required to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.

Employee is required to travel to business and customer locations, locally and/or nationally up to 50%.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in relevant Microsoft discipline(s) preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience with Microsoft, Salesforce, and SAP technologies in a IT consulting & professional services environment.
  • 5+ years' experience leading Sales Teams project teams, formally or informally.
  • Proficiency in relevant skills as per Skills Addendum for associated discipline.
