Youth Golf Course Maintenance Worker- Temporary

Position Purpose Job Functions / Scope of Authority

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Under supervision, performs a variety of physical labor duties associated with the care and maintenance of a golf course including string trimming, bunker maintenance, push mowing, trash pick-up and other duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Understanding the game of golf is helpful, but not essential. Ability to follow directions and adhere to golf course safety practices.

Working Environment / Qualifications

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / QUALIFICATIONS:

This position is available for 16 & 17 year olds, but the number of positions available are limited.

Work is primarily performed in an outdoor environment with moderate to high noise levels. May require strenuous work at times, heavy lifting and pushing or pulling, lifting objects of 50 lbs or more. Work may be performed in adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Work schedule will vary during the season and early mornings are expected.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be 16 years or older with a valid driver's license. Vision Mission Values
