• We are seeking a Vice President of Data and Artificial Intelligence who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data analytics and AI initiatives.
• This leadership position demands a blend of strong leadership capabilities, deep industry knowledge, and a proven ability to drive innovation and transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Development: Demonstrate exceptional leadership by developing and guiding a high-performing team specialized in data analytics and AI. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strategic Industry Engagement: Utilize a robust network of industry contacts and an in-depth understanding of analytics and digital trends to enhance our impact within the CompQsoft client ecosystem. Establish trust-based relationships with C-suite executives valuing experience in complex environments.
• Business Expansion: Strategically expand our services to new and diversified markets by leveraging Microsoft data analytics capabilities. Lead the enhancement of our Go-to-Market strategy for emerging data products and analytics solutions.
• Innovation and Collaboration: Guide client team in crafting cutting-edge analytics solutions. Collaborate across business units to integrate AI technologies and address client-specific needs.
• Partnership Development: Form strategic alliances with key stakeholders in the AI and related sectors to advance our goals and broaden our influence.
• Operational Excellence and Growth: Actively participate in the development, execution, and expansion of our business. Focus on creating assets and accelerators to boost sales and delivery. Understand and advocate for the application of Data Science, Machine Learning, and Advanced Analytics in client engagements.
• Strategic Contribution and Culture: Play a crucial role in shaping the firm's future direction and governance, emphasizing quality delivery, client satisfaction, and a positive organizational culture.
• Business Development: Lead Pre-sales initiatives to achieve significant annual sales growth. Foster a collaborative work environment that attracts top-tier talent.
• Service Delivery Excellence: Work on building the BI development Team & ensure team expansion performance meets the highest standards of quality and adds value to our clients.
• Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the executive & Outside Sales team to define market strategies and the future trajectory of our Data and AI division.
• Intellectual Property and Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends to grow our practice through innovative solutions and thought-provoking leadership. Represent CompQsoft at industry events to enhance our market presence.

Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Visualization, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, or MIS, or a related field preferred. Master's a plus.
• 15+ years of total IT experience with at least 8+ years working in Data/AI projects and at least 4 years managing medium to large Data/AI projects.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Platform.
• Must have worked on several projects (at least 5+) building solutions for Data Pipelines, Data warehousing, Data Modelling on Azure Data Platform (AWS and GCP are good to have).
• Experience in design and development of Data integration solutions using ADF, Synapse Analytics, Databricks.
• Experience working with Data Lake, Lake house and Data Mesh following Medallion or equivalent architecture.
• Experience in Data Modelling for storage and consumption.
• Strong SQL/Pyspark programming experience.
• Experience in building scalable high performance reporting solutions using Power BI, in both shared and dedicated capacity.
• Strong experience working in an Onsite-Offshore model.
• Superior problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, influencing, communicating, and consulting skills, team/interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
