Are you an experienced machinist with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for innovation? We are seeking a dynamic Machinist/Programmer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be a key player in the development and execution of machine programs and processes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, providing technical expertise and innovative solutions to meet our manufacturing needs. Responsibilities:

As a Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

1. Developing and implementing CNC programs for a variety of machinery, including CNC lathes, Swiss machines, and live tooling.
2. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve overall efficiency.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to machine programs and processes.
4. Providing technical expertise and guidance on machining best practices.
5. Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
6. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency in our machining processes.
7. Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Machinist/Programmer role will have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in programming and operating CNC lathes, Swiss machines, and live tooling.
3. Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software for programming.
4. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and develop effective solutions.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization.
6. A strong commitment to quality, with a keen attention to detail.
7. The ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
8. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
