Wild Life Trapper Technician

Pest control Trapper technicians help customers identify and get rid of various pests. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; WE WILL TRAIN THE IDEAL CANDIDATE!!

On the job Training and path to obtaining Trapper License provided and an opportunity to earn more money after obtaining license.

Job site rotates between several creeks, dams and levees located throughout Santa Clara County.

Technician sets several ground squirrel traps each morning.

Traps are to be continuously monitored throughout the day. There are several non-target species that could be caught and need to be immediately released. These species include endangered and protected species. 

Holes and boroughs made by ground squirrels throughout the sites are to be backfilled with existing dirt. 

Traps are to be collected and emptied at the end of each workday. Caught squirrels are to be humanly euthanized and properly disposed of.

Again all training is included, and you get paid during training.  You must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a valid driver license and a good DMV record.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Handle loads up to 50 lbs.
• Conditions can be very hot (above 90 F) or very cold (under 32 F)
• Work requires safe driving of company vehicle
• Use of hand and power tools required
• Work involves walking more than one-third of the time
