Manufacturing Tech lV

A successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Production and quality-minded individual
• Good communication skills working as part of a team with other operators
• Manual Lathe/Grinding experience
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to read and use micrometers and calipers (O.D., I.D.)
• Ability to do basic machine set up
• Knowledgeable on reading blueprints
• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
• Ability to make necessary tooling for machine operations from a drawing/blueprint
• Ability to edit and write programs for CNC machines
• Reliable transportation
• Must follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• 5 or more years or equivalent experience and tech school certification
• Milling experience is a plus
• Reliable attendance
• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
• Must pass a Drug Test and background check prior to hiring.
