Job Summary:
- This position entails utilizing SAP ByD for supply chain management, including order fulfillment, purchasing, and inventory oversight.
Job Duties:
- Use SAP ByD to analyze requirements for order fulfillment, safety stock, and new product introductions.
- Handle the completion and negotiation of purchase orders, including order call-off, expediting, PO creation, and vendor communication.
- Maintain necessary purchasing records.
- Manage shipping and delivery dates using SAP ByD.
- Conduct cycle counts, investigate and rectify discrepancies, and ensure inventory compliance with company policies.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet daily customer demand by timely and accurate order placement and receipt based on set schedules.
- Process returned merchandise and file defective claims as needed using SAP ByD.
- Daily posting and invoicing of shipments.
- Create and receive air orders weekly and vessel orders monthly.
- Request part quotes from headquarters.
Qualifications:
- Possess 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain operations.
- Have 1 – 3 years of experience in logistics and shipping.
- Hold an Associate's Degree as a minimum requirement (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in SAP Business By Design or a similar ERP system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Must have excellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
