Job Description
COME GROW WITH US! The NEEDS Center is hiring Full Time Assistant Program Coordinator in one of our Orange Park, FL residential homes! Hourly rate is $17 an hour.
NEEDS Center’s mission is to provide education, training, and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live as independently as possible.
As the Assistant Program Coordinator (APC), you will supervise the implementation of educational and clinical programs and oversee the program/facility in the absence of the Program Coordinator (PC). The APC reports directly to the PC. The APC works with and assists in the supervision of the team to ensure the delivery of quality services.
As Assistant Program Coordinator you will:
- Work cooperatively with the Program Coordinator (PC) and other supervisory personnel and training staff in coordination and supervision of daily program operations.
- Monitor day-to-day implementation of clinical programs, as well as ISP development, reporting and monitoring for individuals at the residence.
- Provide leadership to all staff on duty by creating a positive work atmosphere and creating a cohesive team environment.
- Ensure that services are maintained according to ADP and all applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications required:
Must have a valid driver's license
Qualifications preferred:
- Experience with behavior management
- At least two (2) years of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities, having worked at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
- At least 2 years of experience working in residential environment.
- Good supervisory and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Med certification
