Cultivation

Description:

The candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and organizational and communication skills. Is able to maintain accurate information of the cultivation process in Metric inventory system. Practices strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Carries out Nutrient regiments, and IPM protocols.

Maintains the safety and inventory of the cultivation space. Communicates issues that may arise immediately to the Head of Cultivation, and Cultivation Leads, keeping them aware of any and all potential problems.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, foliar, and preventative sprays, waste disposal, cleaning, and inventory management.
2. Manage cannabis plants, and tasks via the designated inventory management system.
3. Maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options, seeking continuing education as directed by the Head of Cultivation.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keep every tool used in its appropriate place. Return items to where they belong, upon completion of a task.
5. Comply with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
6. Assist the Head of Cultivation and Leads in maintaining OSHA standards, safety, and protocols.
7. Don proper PPE in the cultivation space, at all times.
8. Perform facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
9. Able to wear a respirator as needed, responsible for obtaining fit tests for respirators.
10. Any additional duties as determined by Management.
11. Must be able to work flexible work schedule; must be available for overtime when required.

The Facility is located in Lapeer, MI

Position Requirements:

1. May need to lift 50+ plus pounds and stand for long hours. May be required to lift boxes, plants, tools, and various heavy implements.
2. Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas.
3. Actively involved in Workplace Safety.
4. Ensure proper procedures are followed and take steps to update any outdated procedures.
5. Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in a professional manner.
