Our client is a busy and well-established outpatient radiology practice located in Florida. They are dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic services to their patients. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join their team. If you are a skilled professional with expertise in abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure, providing clear instructions and answering any questions they may have.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, maintaining the highest standard of image quality.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to interpret and report findings accurately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including ultrasound images and reports, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in ultrasound technology and radiology.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized ultrasound suite, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Foster a positive and empathetic patient experience through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform ultrasound-guided procedures, if experienced and trained.

Qualifications:

  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) registration in abdomen and/or OB/GYN is required.
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency in performing abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound examinations.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound-guided procedures is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and provide reassurance to patients.
  • Understanding of pathology and the ability to identify abnormalities in ultrasound images.
  • Must be a Florida resident to apply.
