As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication process by operating and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure the accurate and efficient production of countertops. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish countertop materials according to specifications.
  2. Programming: Create and modify CNC programs to achieve precise dimensions and finishes based on design specifications.
  3. Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and securing of materials for processing.
  4. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to verify that machined products meet design specifications and quality standards.
  5. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs as needed.
  6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including designers, fabricators, and supervisors, to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a countertop fabrication or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and operating CNC machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of different countertop materials and their machining requirements.
  • Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for CNC machinery.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Education and Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional certification or training in CNC machining is a plus.
