As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication process by operating and maintaining CNC machinery to ensure the accurate and efficient production of countertops. Your responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish countertop materials according to specifications.
- Programming: Create and modify CNC programs to achieve precise dimensions and finishes based on design specifications.
- Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and securing of materials for processing.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to verify that machined products meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including designers, fabricators, and supervisors, to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a countertop fabrication or similar manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operating CNC machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of different countertop materials and their machining requirements.
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for CNC machinery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional certification or training in CNC machining is a plus.
