Position Title: Hospitality Aide
Department: Nursing
Reports To: Forest Path Nurse
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

Results Statement: I am accountable for producing the following results:

Assist in the planning, organizing, and development of Forest Path’s activities, as well as the cleanliness, safety and comfort at Forest Path; and in the preparation and serving of food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing.

Essential Job Functions

1. Assist in the planning, development, organization, and implementation of activity programs.
a. Be knowledgeable of each resident’s care plan and ensure that care plans are used in providing daily activities for each resident.
b. Decorate facility based upon season or event
2. Plan activities maintain a monthly calendar and theme for the month. Carry out theme on bulletin boards, decorations and activities as created by the Director of Life Enrichment.
3. Keep the facility clean and safe for our residents.
4. Meal planning and preparing the meals in accordance with required dietary needs of each resident.
a. Shop for groceries need to prepare meals
5. Clean dishes and maintain a clean kitchen workspace.
6. Maintain all stock at Forest Path. This includes nursing supplies, dietary needs, and linens.
7. Other duties as assigned.
