Machinist

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. This is a Contract to Hire position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire

Location: Woburn, Massachusetts

Role: Machinist

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Machinist must have at least 3+ years of experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- With guidance from supervisor, operates a limited number of machines such as lathes, certain millers, grinders and drill presses.

- Works from standard drawings and process sheets as well as written and verbal instruction.

- With supervision, performs tape controlled machine operations and makes simple adjustments as necessary.

- Makes necessary adjustments to machines during operation to ensure high product quality and unit quantity.

- Responsible for maintaining normal tolerances.

- Visually inspects parts and subassemblies from freedom from defects.

- Maintains work area and equipment in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

Education: High School/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
