POSITION PURPOSE:

Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the bar area by providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to members and guests and assist other personnel as needed; contribute to the overall positive member and guest experience at the resort.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • One-year previous experience as a bartender.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Responsible Vendor and Food Handler Certificates.
  • Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other associates of the organization effectively.
  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak).
  • Work under pressure and handle difficult situations.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Deal with customers in a professional manner with patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Exemplary customer-service orientation and outstanding hospitality skills.
  • Full and open availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS – ABILITY TO:

  • Grasp, lift, push/pull, carry or transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Stand and walk for length of scheduled shift.
