Office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.


Job Summary:

We are hiring full-time Medical Assistants for our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine department.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for vitals, injections, and basic triage and should be able to assist in minor procedures. In addition, candidates should possess a solid understanding of medical terminology, good customer service skills, computer skills, phone experience, and good written/verbal communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate clinical knowledge in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating care.
  • Able to work one on one with physician on a daily basis to effectively run the clinic. Duties included, but are not limited to; rooming patients, updating medical HX and RX’s, assisting with procedures, and performing procedures (injections, catheterizations, SP tube changes, end etc.).
  • Demonstrates effective patient safety techniques and infection control.
  • Works as part of the clinic team in an effective and efficient manner to accomplish daily objectives.
  • Performs technical services/procedures according to standards and protocols.
  • Demonstrates effective and accurate verbal, written and electronic communication, and participates in clinic initiatives and operations.
  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height.
  • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical records.
