Play a critical role in applying melting and fusing metal components using various techniques, such as arc welding, gas welding, MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding, TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding for a premiere family-owned trailer manufacturing company in Phenix City, AL.
As a Welder choose the appropriate welding materials based on the type of metals involved, project specifications, and intended application. You will clean, cut, and shape metal pieces to be welded ensuring proper fit and alignment. You will also configure and calibrate welding machines, select the appropriate welding method, and adjust settings such as voltage and wire feed speed.
